The saveONenergy PLEDGE has shifted its' focus to the fall—highlighting conservation actions that will help Pledgers save energy, save money and reduce greenhouse gases in the fall and winter periods. Summer pledgers are welcome to take the Pledge again in the fall to earn the basic 15 AIR MILES® reward miles and those who Pledge and let us take away their old fridge and/or freezer can earn an additional 100 bonus reward miles!

When does the campaign run?
The saveONenergy PLEDGE campaign consists of two seasonal phases. The summer Pledge campaign ran from July 29 to October 11, 2011 and the Fall Pledge campaign runs from October 11 to December 31, 2011. Each phase promotes seasonal conservation actions.
Can people who pledged during the summer campaign pledge again in the fall campaign?
Yes. We encourage all Ontarians to learn about, and commit to, the new conservation actions for the fall and winter seasons.
How many reward miles does a pledger receive?
Ontario AIR MILES Collectors who take the saveONenergy PLEDGE will receive 15 AIR MILES reward miles. In addition, we will donate an extra 5 AIR MILES reward miles to one of the following participating charities: WWF-Canada, Kids Help Phone or Special Olympics. AIR MILES collectors can also choose to donate their 15 reward miles, as well.
The AIR MILES rewards offer is available during each campaign phase. That means you can earn a total of 30 reward miles if you pledge in both the SUMMER and FALL campaign phases.
For a limited time only, Ontarians who take the saveONenergy PLEDGE and participate in the saveONenergy FRIDGE & FREEZER PICKUP initiative will also receive 100 bonus AIR MILES. To be eligible, the saveONenergy PLEDGE must be completed between October 11 and November 30, 2011, and the fridge/freezer picked up by January 15, 2012. Offer subject to Terms and Conditions.
How can I take advantage of this limited-time offer?
First you must take the Fall saveONenergy PLEDGE and select the FRIDGE & FREEZER PICKUP Pledge. After your Pledge is confirmed, you will be automatically linked with details of the limited-time offer and the process you will need to follow to arrange an appointment to pickup your appliances. Please remember, you MUST use the the same first and last names and postal codes for both the Pledge and your pickup appointment.

Can I pledge as many times as I wish?
Ontarians can pledge twice: once during the summer campaign phase and once during the fall campaign phase.
Can each person in my household pledge? Can they provide my AIR MILES Collector number when they pledge?
We hope everyone in the household pledges. However, the AIR MILES reward miles offer is available only twice for each Ontario-based AIR MILES collector number — once during the summer saveONenergy PLEDGE campaign phase, and once during the fall saveONenergy PLEDGE campaign phase.
Can I get one Limited-time Bonus Offer for each appliance I have picked up?
No. Only one bonus offer is available for each Collector, regardless of the number of appliances that are collected.
How long will it take for the AIR MILES reward miles to appear in my account?
Allow 14 days from the time you submit your basic PLEDGE for AIR MILES reward miles to be loaded into your account. The limited-time offer reward miles for participating in the saveONenergy FRIDGE/FREEZER PICKUP initiative are expected to take 60 days from the date of appliance pickup.
If I don’t have an AIR MILES card, do all 20 AIR MILES go to one of the three participating charities?
For those who do not collect AIR MILES, a “fund” of 200,000 reward miles will be allocated to the three participating charities at the end of the campaign (December 31, 2011) in proportion to the “votes” each receives from non-collectors.
I collect AIR MILES, but would rather donate my 15 reward miles to one of the charities. May I do that?
Yes. When you select the participating charity you wish to receive the 5 reward miles from the campaign, you may also donate your 15 reward miles to the same charity.
I do not collect AIR MILES. What’s in this for me?
The saveONenergy PLEDGE offers all Ontarians a number of benefits:

The PLEDGE highlights four province-wide conservation programs, each with its own incentives, ranging from $4 coupons for the purchase of a heavy-duty outdoor timer to up to $650 for the installation of qualified central heating and air conditioning systems.
- Fulfilling your PLEDGE commitments will help you manage your electricity use and costs, and help avoid creating greenhouse gases.
